Imagine - you are in the living room, sitting relaxful on your sofa. Close your eyes and let your ears indulge with Nocturne from sophisticated Hi-Fi. The late night wind, slip in and blow your face tenderly. Nocturne music that leads you to tranquil dreamy mood... Chopin, the 19th century musical composer, made Nocturnes outstanding and famous.
Oh, what a wonderful night with Nocturne...

Penang in 24 Hours (7 June 2008) - Part 3
(0830 - 0950)
Arrived Esplanade area. Toshio commanded - let's roll out and shoot! The morning light was a bit harsh and weather was cloudy as well. It's my perfect timing to put up polarizer to test out the effect. A new toy bought a day before this event kickstarted.
Our hunts began at old Esplanade and Penang Fort Cornwallis...

Penang in 24 Hours (7 June 2008) - Part 1
[Photos saved from http://www.shutterasia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14441]
Time: 0500 - 0600
Hmmm... by the way, where were others' intro? I wonder.
3 groups getting ready to roll out!
Group 1
Group 2
Group 3
Time: 0500 - 0600
Event kickstarted at 0500 when Pixels Digital Media Community Centre level 1 was full of noises and annoucement. Several "seniors" in the SA group were giving "speech". Among them, James Wu was the one who gave me deep impression on his humourous facial expression. I told myself more fun is on its way to welcome all of us :-)
Our faces are still fresh in the early morning --> energetic, excited and joyful of course.

Not Alone
Re-read a book titled "As It Is", written by Anatta.
I like particularly on one paragraph - "... no one does anything alone; our living, our every action, even our every breath, somehow involves others, even if it if not immediately apparent. And not only does it involve other people, but other things - all other things - in a vast network."

Man-hunt
Finally all the insane "kaki" made it - 24 hours shooting.
I personally like our group photos very much. It was really fun to see both serious position (like man-hunt profile :-P) and "kawa-ii" stance.
Female-hunt
Both pictures taken from Nikon D300 with two remote flash guns placed left and right. This indeed open my eyes and curiousity on studio shooting (definitely will explore this branch of learning).
Still finding opportunity to squeeze time to write down the moment we drove and shot photos… lots of funny stuffs we laughed out loud in the car and during meals time.
Stay tune…

Penang in 24 Hours
Azmi (the organiser) designed the logo, I'm going to get his permission to publish after I uploaded in my personal blog (sounds evil)
Yeeeee ha! Can't wait for 24 hours photo shooting event project organised by ShutterAsia.com. My family concluded that I'm insane. It is indeed, definitely or exactly insane! Nonstop shooting like marathon. 0500 in the morning until next morning.
Physically and mentally exhausting for sure. Another insane "kaki" able to come all the way from KL or Ipoh. Salute them!
I'm not alone, to GET INSANE…
