Vegetables Snack

Vegetables Snack, originally uploaded by Hong CN.

My Auntie prepared this very professionally. :-)

I love this vege snack. It used special white flour with very hot water to generate the external "skin". Once the flour becomes sticky, use bare hand to pull out and put the vege in and "close" it with fingers pinching :-)

Use a flat plate with little oil put on it, place this vege snack in order and steam it for 8 minutes.

After steaming, apply little oil to brush on top of this snack. You can eat with chilli sauce with little lemon squeezed and mixed in the sauce. It gives you sweet and sour taste.

I'm going to learn how to prepare this very soon :-)

Illusion

Reflective Illusion, originally uploaded by Hong CN.

Ever notice your illusion? I purposely don't intend to reveal what is it the picture. I wonder what do you see.

Something that deceptive appearance. Deceive your senses or mind. In Psychology, it is a misinterpretation of an experience of sensory perception, especially the visual one. The stimuli are objectively present and the mistaken perception is due to physical rather than psychological causes.

Hero

Transformers Autobot Bumblebee, originally uploaded by Hong CN.

My wife told me that she likes Bumblebee very much in Transformers movie. He just like a hero, standing tall (though the physical appearance may look "smaller" comparing with his boss - Optimus Prime).

He is brave and ready to sacrifice. In the movie, Bumblebee sacrificed his both legs to help Ironhide to deflect Starscream's missile attack. His voice processor spoilt made him just act and not much talk. The touching end is Bumblebee requested permission to continue to stay and protect his human friend - Sam Witwicky.

Quoted from Wikipedia, his motto: "The least likely can be the most dangerous."

Good or Evil?

One of my favourite Transformer character in the movie. Definitely attracted by this Saleen S281 Mustang model :-)

The contrast in between the character (Decepticon Barricade) and its appearance (Police car) are very obvious.

How do you define good and evil? Are there any Universal indicators behind or within or consequent upon an action by which one can determine where it was a good or evil act?

The scriptures of world's religions provide variety of answers to these questions. I'm limited in terms of knowledge to list down here. Preferably to prepare a space of thought for ponder or digest the question slowly and eventually understand. It's a choice you choose to lead to define and believe.

I once read a Buddhism booklet said (partially quoted): -
In the dark, there is some light
In the black, there is some white
In the evil, there is some good (my opinion)

Thus, I choose to believe there is still some good even in evil person. What about you?

Beautiful Day

Good Morning :-), originally uploaded by Hong CN.

Didn't expect I able to meet virtually my 10 years ago tuition student NiC in MSN.

Time flies... Back to 1997, a simple part time teacher met 42 primary school students. Now I'm assuming they are all in either college or Uni or maybe working. I have short term memory, can't remember all their names, only a few.

I pray for them to have each and every beautiful day in their lives.

Take good care pals :-)

April Fool 2008

AprilFool08, originally uploaded by Hong CN.

April Fool :-P
My naughty manager fooled me, I think I'm the first one being fooled in the office.
This reminds me vividly during my childhood days where lots of kids fooled friends and parents. If successfully, we just shouted out - April Fool!
During that moment, it was either fool people alone or in group. The most important outcome was the laugh.
Personally I think if there is no serious issue involve, why not being fooled to add little laugh in your surrounding? :-)
Anyway, enjoy your April Fool with joy and laugh, don't take it too seriously :-)
